The Kansas City Lyra Chapter 2024-2025 competition will be held virtually with video submission in April. We have mostly selected music by living composers, with three of them being from Kansas! Levels I - VI range from early beginner to advanced, and are open to students ages 5 to 18. It is up to you and your teacher to decide which level is appropriate. Levels may be repeated. Students should play the listed repertoire piece from memory. They can still participate if the piece isn’t memorized but they will not receive any points in the memorization category.

Young Adult (25 maximum age): Mirage from 5 Poetical Studies by Salzedo
